Hi there, and a very warm welcome.

Well, a little bit about me.......

I am originally from Great Yarmouth in Norfolk but now so very lucky to be living in South Cumbria with my other (some say better?) half Kim. We also have our 'Tuxedo' cat Binky we got from a local rescue centre in November 2024 after losing our beloved ginger Tom Toffee in September 2024.

At present we live not that far from the beautiful Lake District National Park & what a place it is to live..

Stuff I like to do:

Love the Highlands, North West Coast of Scotland & the Islands of Mull & Skye.

Getting out & being ''outdoorsy'' around & on the Lakeland Fells (come sun or snow).

Riding my motorbike when the Cumbrian weather is being kind, I'm also a biker photographer which is another side to my photography.

Oh & I like cake, any cake apart from that fruit cake stuff & the best dessert is Apple Crumble with lashings of Custard!

The Photography Thing:

I started taking photographs around about 1982 when I was at school back in the days of film & darkrooms. I had no idea what I wanted to do in life until my Mum said 'You take some nice photographs, why don't you look into a career in Photography'. That was how and when my love of creating images really started.

I am self taught but I do have a City & Guilds module one qualification and I am also a registered member of The Guild of Photographers.

My aim with your Photo Shoot & images

If you've read the above you can see I've been using cameras for well over 40 years... so I do have a little bit of experience behind the camera/lens - Kim would say photography is in my blood. I must confess I do love planning Photo Shoots & creating images!

I try to make Photo Shoots fun so be prepared to have a giggle or two! It is your Photo Shoot so I would love for you to get involved with suggesting ideas, if you have something you want to try? don't be afraid to ask!

With the Creative Photo Shoot images I aim to create images that people are going to say: OH WOW is that really you? Instead of: Oh! that's nice... A piece of art that hopefully you might want to hang on your wall.. Something you will look back on & think to yourself: I can't believe that is actually me.
